This bill changes the law in several ways which corrected some unintended consequences of HB1004 which amended this code section in the 2016 legislative session. On May 9, 2017 the Georgia Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land surveyors adopted a guidance document to aid all those who are involved in the procedures of preparing and recording plats.
